So I have been refreshing newegg and shop.msicomputer roughly 490 times a day for the last month or so hoping to buy a MSI Wind NB. Yesterday (7/16/08) I refreshed newegg in Opera then closed it. Then it hit me, it didn't say the normal "out of stock" status. I had to reopen Opera and sure enough. I immediately ordered it and since I'm flying out to Denver on Friday for the weekend I had to add overnight shipping.
I was so excited I immediately stood up to tell someone. I was just about to leave work and normally a co-worker of mine, that is also a gadget geek, would have been packing up his stuff to go. But he left a little early and no one was there. Whats a geek to do? I grabbed my gadget bag and headed out of the office. On my way to my car I quickly typed a quick "guess what I bought" e-mail to two guys that might love gadgets as much as I do. These men were none other than James Kendrick and Kevin Tofel. They seemed to be excited as well. Thanks guys.
I'm off to grab a bite to eat.
